We understand that there may be last-minute situations, or unexpected scheduling conflicts in which you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. It is requested that you give as much advanced notice as possible, or a cancellation fee may apply.
Respectfully, we ask that you give advanced notice of at least 48 business hours before your appointment time.
First time cancellation within 24 business hours or less or "no-shows" will be charged HALF of the contracted rate.
Second time cancellation within 24 business hours or less or "no-shows" will be charged the FULL contracted rate.
For example, if your contracted session rate is $120, then your first time "no show" cancellation fee will be $60.
For example, if your contracted session rate is $120, then your second time "no show" cancellation fee will be $120.
Text message is the preferred mode of communication to ensure that you are acknowledged promptly. You may also notify by email or phone call, but please note that I may not see an email or voicemail after business hours or on the weekends.
By requiring a cancellation fee, Rooted Wellness Counseling is able to continue providing high quality, individualized care. Notifying of any cancellation at least 48 business hours in advance, also allows another client to receive services who may not have been able to schedule that week.

Appointment on Monday: cancel by time of appointment on Sunday
Appointment on Tuesday: cancel by time of appointment on Monday
Appointment on Wednesday: cancel by time of appointment on Tuesday
Appointment on Thursday: cancel by time of appointment on Wednesday
Appointment on Friday: cancel by time of appointment on Thursday
